We had a chance to get to Polish Fest in Milwaukee to meet up with some of our very favorite adoption bloggers. It was a riot seeing these online friends come to life!
It was an adventure just getting to Milwaukee as we ended up with a little bit of car trouble so we got to spend some quality time at the car dealer...
Fortunately, there was still a little time to take in a random road-trip monument along our way.
And while in town, we had plenty of time to relax.
We're looking forward to being able to head back next year. Mark your calendars, Milwaukee. The Polish adoption bloggers contingency will be back!

What a hoot! Where is this large pink elephant with glasses? I must have a picture of it while hanging from its trunk! Ha!!

Indeed that pink elephant is pretty awesome! We try to fit in at least one road-side oddity into any of our road trips. :)

We had SUCH a great time! We really enjoyed talking with you and your husband. I hope next year people will consider driving or flying in (easier said by someone who only lives an hour away). Everyone had better bring a cooler next year, we will be bringing Kasia’s Deli pierogies for everyone!
Sarah, I envy your ability to keep your blog so current! It was great finally being able to meet your family and to talk in person. Here's hoping next years trip is a little smoother!
It was so nice to see everyone. It was a long trip for us, but well worth it. Hope to do it again next year!
